UPDATE: A woman's body has been found inside the house where Bau-Tremblay lived. Click here for more.

Almost a week after Cheryl Bau Tremblay went missing, the Surete du Quebec are coming to the assistance of the Richelieu police.

Her live-in boyfriend, Alexandre Gendron, was met by police once again on Thursday morning.

"He's collaborating with us, and her family too and her friends," said Const. Yanic Parent. "We've got very good collaboration with them, but they're very worried."

"They haven''t seen her since Saturday so everybody's very worried, so we understand that but we got very good help from them."

Bau Tremblay was last seen on Saturday afternoon leaving her home for a walk. She did not bring her phone with her, nor her purse.

The five-month pregnant woman had recently returned from a visit to her sister in Magog.

Bau Tremblay and Gendron only recently moved to Beloeil and very few neighbours know her.

Police have said her disappearance is mysterious since she did not have depression, and her work colleagues call her a generally upbeat person.

On Wednesday police used a helicopter to search along the river, which they said was standard protocol when someone had gone missing near the water.

She is a white woman with black hair and blue eyes. She speaks French. She has a tribal tattoo on her right wrist and was likely wearing black leggings at the time of her disappearance.
