The Liberals have come to the end of their delaying tactics on the PQ government's controversial language law update, Bill 14

Jean-Marc Fournier was the last Liberal MNA to speak in opposition to the bill, as more than 40 of the party's 50 MNAs have spoken on the bill over the past several weeks, delaying its progress.

The Liberals vow to oppose the bill when it is presented for passage in principle Thursday morning.

The CAQ says it's better to vote yes and then argue with the PQ over how the legislation altering the Language Charter can be improved.

After it is adopted in principle it will be studied article by article and amendments will likely be made.

The process is expected to last into next fall
