Montreal police have laid charges in a year-long string of burglary cases at hospitals, pharmacies and health clinics.

Police say stolen items included money, keys and personal effects. One case involves break-and-enter at a school for children with disabilities.

A security agent at a Montreal hospital alerted police, which led to an arrest in January.

Police said the suspect would often change her appearance, and on Monday police released mug shots of a suspect as a short-haired brunette and a blonde with long hair.

Police believe there may be other victims. They encourage anyone who was a victim to come forward and make an official complaint.

Isabelle Labonté was arrested on Jan. 26, 2015 and charged with more than 30 counts of breaking and entering, some dating back to March 2014.

Labonté also faces 12 charges of theft valued at under $5,000 and 7 charges of possession of stolen goods.
