Two alleged Hells Angels associates pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder on Friday.
In doing so, Francois Goupil and Louis Ruel will avoid taking part in a mega-trial of alleged biker gang members which is scheduled to begin on Monday.
Seven other men with ties to the gang are likely to take part in the trial, which could last at least a year and a half.
