Montreal police are investigating an odd fire that broke out overnight in an industrial neighbourhood.
Around 2 a.m. a cube truck parked outside a warehouse near Jean Milot St. and Lafleur Ave. caught fire, and the flames spread from the truck, to wooden pallets, to a building.
Firefighters put out the flames, but only after the fire had caused substantial damage to the truck and the building.
The arson squad has now taken over the case because there was no apparent cause for anything in the area to burst into flame.
