Six Hells Angels accused of murder and conspiracy will have to wait a little longer to begin their trial for murder and conspiracy.
The men were arrested six years ago as part of Operation Sharqc, a massive police raid that rounded up more than 150 members of the criminal gang, and their trial was due to begin Monday. But one of the jurors had to be excused, and as a result the trial has been postponed.
One man pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder Monday morning, while the other six accused will see their trials to begin next Monday, Aug. 10, 2015.
Since the arrests in 2009 more than 103 people have pleaded guilty to murder or conspiracy to commit murder.
This past Friday Francois Goupil and Louis Ruel pleaded guilty to conspiracy.
31 people were released in 2011 after a judge ruled there were unreasonable delays in their cases, and three people have died since being charged.
Two other accused, who have chosen to have their trials conducted in English, will have their hearings begin in January 2016.
