Ronald Junior Brazeau, 34, Sonia Vilon, 39, and Rene Samson Von Richter, 24, appeared at the Gatineau courthouse this week to face charges of premeditated murder related to the deaths of Amanda Trottier and Travis Votour in Aylmer, Quebec on January 6, 2014.
Prosectors are accusing Brazeau of planning and ordering both murders.
Police also arrested six people in relation to drug trafficking and seized over 13 kg of cannabis, four firearms and an undisclosed sum of cash in searches related to the investigation.
The arrests were the culmination fo a 16-month investigation involving several police squads.
