A taxi driver died Monday night, possibly of a heart attack, following a car crash on Highway 20.
Witnesses say the taxi was out of control and hit concrete barriers on both sides of the westbound lanes near the exit for Morgan Rd. before the vehicle came to a stop.
Police said the driver suffered "a medical episode" prior to the crash, but would not confirm reports the driver was in cardiac arrest or had fallen asleep.
Ambulance technicians rushed the 52-year-old man to hospital but he did not survive.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Police closed the highway for several hours while they investigated the crash.
