But some people just love snakes, which are on display at the eleventh annual Reptile show at cegep Maisonneuve.

Fans of cold-blooded critters spent Saturday were checking out various species of lizards, snakes and turtles.

The highlight every year is the chance to touch and hold species that aren't usually seen in this climate.

The show continues from until 9 p.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the school, which is located at 2700 Bourbonniere in Montreal.

Tickets are $8.
