Quebec's Leylah Annie Fernandez was eliminated from the French Open on Wednesday, losing to Swiss Clara Tauson 6-3, 5-7, 6-4.

The 20-year-old southpaw from Laval served five aces, but also committed six double-faults in the three-set match. 

Fernandez is currently ranked 36th in the world.
