The missing child from Repentigny was found safe and sound after an amber alert was issued Sunday morning.

The alert was issued around 6:30 a.m. after an eight-year-old girl was reported missing.

She was found in Kahnawake, according to provincial police (SQ), who say a 51-year-old man has since been arrested in connection with her disappearance.
