Montreal travellers navigate the busiest day at Montreal Airport

Monday night’s snow in Montreal may slow some travel plans, but as travellers pack their bags and head to the airport, they will need to navigate the current rules as new ones loom.

The federal government is proposing new rules surrounding airlines' obligations to travellers when their flights are disrupted, even when delays or cancellations are caused by an "exceptional circumstance" outside of carriers' control.

The government hopes the rules will address customer’s concerns, but many are not convinced.
