The Montreal police’s arson squad is investigating after three cars were torched in two different neighbourhoods overnight.
Firefighters were called to de Madere St. near Jarry St. in St. Leonard at around 2:30 a.m. Thursday to look into a fire that engulfed two vehicles.
A third vehicle was also damaged by smoke and heat.
About an hour later, another vehicle was set on fire on 17th Ave. near Victoria St. in Pointe aux Trembles.
Police say the two attacks are not related and that the motives are still unclear.
