Coalition Avenir Quebec leader Francois Legault insisted he is not part of Quebec’s financial elite on Tuesday, regardless of what Parti Quebecois leader Jean-Francois Lisee says of him.
Legault denounced Lisee’s “personal attacks” over the announcement that the CAQ chief was selling his $4.9 million Outremont home.
He accused Lisee of hypocrisy, pointing out that the PQ leader is himself the owner of a home worth $1.1 million.
During a press conference, Legault attacked his political rivals, saying they were far removed from the concerns of the population.
