Jim Popp is out and Jacques Chapdelaine is in as the coach of the Montreal Alouettes.
The football team has struggled for the past two seasons under Popp's guidance, with only six wins and 15 losses since Tom Higgins was fired last year.
This season the Alouettes have won 3 games and lost nine -- for the second-worst standings in the CFL.
In a statement the Alouettes said Popp will focus on his General Manager duties.
The Alouettes have six more games this season, with their next match being the Toronto Argonauts on Oct. 2.
