Students at the English Montreal School Board returned to class Wednesday amid concerns about teacher shortages.
The principal of Carlyle Elementary School in Mount Royal says she has been working overtime to prepare for the big day because of a lack of staff.
Three classes at the school are starting the year off with substitute teachers.
