A young girl is expected to recover after being hit by a car in the Plateau on Sunday afternoon.
Police say the girl was walking with her mother when she ran into the intersection of Roy St. and St. Denis St., where she was struck by a car.
The girl was taken to hospital where doctors determined she suffered facial injuries but is expected to survive. Police said the girl, aged between 8 and 10-years-old, had injuries they described as relatively minor.
The driver of the car was treated for shock.
