Police are investigating after thieves targeted a restaurant in Ahuntsic-Cartierville late Thursday.
Two employees, aged 51 and 63, were in the process of closing the Le Bordelais restaurant at 1000 Gouin West. around 11 p.m. when three invaders burst in and and tied them up, police say.
The thieves searched the restaurant and made off with a small amount of money.
The employees were not seriously injured and were treated for shock at the hospital.
The Bordelais is known for its French cuisine, described as, "upscale French fare made with market-fresh produce is served in a traditional, white-cloth setting." It sits one block west of the Bordeaux Prison.
