It’s a sight Montrealers are more accustomed to seeing during the frigid winter months – the intersection of Sherbrooke St. W and University St. is flooded after a water main broke Friday.
It was an eight-inch pipe that burst, according to the city. The pipe is located between Sherbrooke and Milton Sts. and University is closed between those two streets.
City crews are at the scene trying to repair the pipe. The plan is to have the pipe repaired either Friday or Saturday.
The city is distributing water to area residents who don't have.
