Ville Marie to be closed for part of the weekend

Drivers heading to the Old Port beware, the Ville Marie will be closed for part of the weekend.

The closures are due to the dismantling of a pedestrian footbridge connected to the Champ de Mars metro station.

Closures include the following.

From 11:59 p.m. on Saturday until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday:

• The 720 East between the Berri exit and the end of the highway.
• The Cathedrale entrance ramp to the 720 East.

From 11:59 p.m. on Saturday until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday:

• The 720 West between the Panet St. and Hotel de Ville entrances.

The temporary closures are in addition to more long-term work which has closed two lanes in each direction in the Viger Tunnel area until November, 2017.
