A water main break caused part of Park Ave. to cave in Thursday afternoon.
It happened between Fairmount Ave and St. Viateur St. in the Plateau–Mont-Royal borough.
Construction crews are at the scene now repairing the hole, which is two metres at its widest point.
The street will be partially closed until 10 p.m.
