A spectacular barn fire that raged in the St. Janvier section of Mirabel Saturday evening has left an estimated $200,000-$300,000 in damages.
About 30 firefighters were called to the scene at 16748 Rang Ste. Marguerite at around 6:45 p.m. where they faced about 1,200 bales of hay on fire, each of which has a value of about $10.
The barn also suffered significant damages and is considered a write-off.
Firefighters are now investigating the cause of the fire, which left no injuries.
