Police are investigating what they describe as a suspicious death following the discovery of the lifeless body of a 29-year-old man in a parked car on Des Erables between Laurier and Masson on Saturday at about 11:30 a.m.
No signs of violence were seen on site but other elements suggest that there might be cause for foul play, according to Montreal police representative Danny Richer.
Police would not reveal the element that they considered suspicious.
The man was not known to police and neighbours interviewed by CTV Montreal Saturday said that they were unfamiliar him and the car.
The time of death remains undetermined for the moment.
Police are investigating and an autopsy is planned.
His identity will only be released after the autopsy is completed sometime next week.
