MONTREAL - Celine Dion revealed details of her husband's difficult health struggles in a televised interview with ABC in which she reports details of her time away from show business to take care of her husband and manager, Rene Angelil.
A tearful Dion told ABC in the televised interview that she feeds her husband three times a day with a feeding tube because he cannot use his jaw.
Rene Angelil, aged 73, had surgery in December 2013 to remove a cancerous tumor.
Dion, 46, gave the interview to the 'Good Morning America' to be broadcast on Wednesday,
A portion of the interview was published on ABC website Tuesday.
She confirmed last week that she would return to stage at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in August.
Dion said that she and Rene Angelil are taking “life one day at a time.”
Celine Dion took time away from her Las Vegas residency after Rene Angelil was diagnosed with cancer for the second time.
