Wilde Horses

- Jeff Petry. What's he cost. I'll take it whatever it costs. This guy is getting better and better. The decision making is tremendous. The hit he laid out on Pageau was perfectly timed to lay him out. Petry is an easy 3 on the Habs and I am not sure if he is not a 2.

- Finally a better game for Markov. That's what Habs watchers are used to. Much better puck movement. He went back door on the power play and got a bit unfortunate to not count.

- Alexei Emelin with a solid game. He found his ice time increased and he handled it well. Laid out the body on Zibinajad once and when the Sens sought revenge he stayed smart and didn't lose discipline. Right on the edge and not beyond it, that's what the Habs need from Emelin.

- Brandon Prust almost scored shorthanded but Anderson sprawled out. Prust gets in the lane to block shots and disrupt extremely well. He shows the courage needed when you're a 3rd liner or 4th liner.

- Dale Weise with some good offensive zone puck possession on a night when there was very little of it for Montreal. He makes smart decisions.

- Same thing for Lars Eller as he did some down low work that was absolutely needed when the ice was tilting toward the Habs end. I guess board work isn't something people appreciate or talk about much because Eller's is outstanding and it does not get mentioned much.

- All the play all night was basically in the Habs end. They were dominated so all hail Carey Price again as he kept that one close.

Wilde Goats

- The Sens management guy in the press box absolutely losing it. This guy made Cam Neely look like the Dalai Lama. You have heard the expression I thought his head was going to explode. That!

- The goal that took about 50 minutes to happen came off a pretty easy play. Gilbert had it on his stick with time. He didn't get it safely out of harm's way. It doesn't take a lot of a mistake for a game to turn. It turned there.

Wilde Cards

- Pacioretty looks like he is cautious. He did some good things but also I felt he was tentative to go into places he could take a head shot. I could be looking for it. It's tough to say. That's my observance. Hope it is not unfair. Certainly he wouldn't tell anyone if it were the case.

- That was an anemic game from the Habs to be truthful. They got a Prust chance of high quality and that was it. Really created nothing. When they needed a goal for 10 minutes they got nothing. And when they pulled their goalie they could not even enter the zone. Then again it's 3-1 Habs overall.
