Alexis Nihon II, son of the real estate magnate, died Sunday of cancer.

The 67-year-old businessman and former Olympic wrestler ran the Alexis Nihon corporation for decades following the death of his father.

Nihon ran businesses in Canada and the Bahamas, namely the eponymous corporation based in Montreal that controlled the mall and office towers next to Dawson College, among other buildings.

In the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico Nihon represented the Bahamas, and he remained athletic throughout his life.

He is survived by his widow and four children, with one child, George, having already passed away.

The family will hold a closed funeral service.
