TSN 690 Radio’s hosts took a break from analysis, opinion and sports musings this week to channel their inner prophets, gaze into crystal balls and report from the ghost of the future sports year this week.

Below are the bold, arguable, insane and/or well-informed predictions in the world of sports for 2025.

Cole Caufield scores 50

"Cole Caufield hits the 50-goal mark. First Montreal Canadiens player to do it in... forever? Who is it? Stephane Richer? I don't even know, so, yes, it's going to be Cole Caulfield, it's going to be this year, 2025, 50-goal mark. Book it."

Patrik Laine scores over 20 goals

"I was wrong, you were right; Patrick Laine a scores a lot of goals. Patrick Laine is going to score over 20 goals between now and game number 82 of the season. That is my 2025 prediction."

Grey Cup returns to MTL

No, baseball is not coming back

"My one and only sports prediction for 2025, sad to say, Major League Baseball will not be returning to Montreal in 2025 I feel your pain."
