Public transit users are going to have to fork over a bit more money, the STM has revealed.

The regular fare will go up to $3.25 from $3, and a monthly fare will be hiked to $82 from the 2014 fare of $79.50.

The reduced fares will also be going up. Those 6-17 and 65+ will now pay $2.25, instead of the current $2. Monthly passes will also go up for reduced-fare passengers, to $49.25 from $47.25.
