A photo of a sleeping STM operator has made the rounds on social media.
A passenger snapped the photo on May 20 from the platform of Laurier metro station when he noticed the employee taking a nap in the last car.
STM spokesperson Isabelle Tremblay confirmed that operators can ride along following a shift or in between shifts but she said that sort of behaviour is not tolerated.
The STM is conducting an internal investigation into the incident.
