The former deacon of St. Edmund Church will be back in court in October to face sentencing for child pornography.
William Kokesch pleaded guilty earlier this year to producing, possessing and distributing child pornography, and was in court Monday when a pre-sentencing report was handed to lawyers and the court.
The Crown and defence lawyers will spend the summer analyzing the report and its assessment of Kokesch's changes in behaviour since he began undergoing psycho-sexual treatment.
Kokesch was arrested in December 2012 after authorities received a tip that Kokesch was making and distributing child pornography.
He turned out to have more than 100,000 photos and videos of children being sexually abused.
Kokesch was once the spokesman for Canadian Conference of Bishops and was very active with Catholic youth organizing, working on conferences in Cologne, Toronto, Rome and Paris, leading conferences on sexual crimes.
He is facing a minimum of one year in prison to a maximum of 10 years in prison.
