Police have confirmed that the body discovered in St. Leonard this week is that of Steven Constantinou.
The body of the 22-year-old man was found in the trunk of a car parked on Paul Emile Lamarche Ave., near Creusot St., early Monday morning.
Constantinou was last seen alive on the afternoon of Oct. 8, 2016, when he left his LaSalle home.
His family was worried about his safety because he had apparently been threatened.
Constantinou was due in court on Oct. 9 for a preliminary hearing involving weapon possession charges.
