MONTREAL—For the second time in a week, the riding office of Parti Quebecois minister Jean-Francois Lisee was vandalized overnight Saturday.

Lisee’s Rosemont office was first targeted last weekend in the run up to the PQ’s education summit, along with fellow MNAs Pierre Duchesne and Leo Bureau-Blouin.

Early Saturday morning, a passerby spotted the shattered windows at Lisee’s office and called the Montreal police. According to Constable Danny Richer, the vandalism was committed overnight at the Rosemont Blvd. office.

An investigation is underway to try to apprehend the vandals.

Considered one of the intellectual heavyweights of the government, Lisee is responsible for international relations, Anglophones and the Montreal region in the PQ caucus.

After his office was first attacked, Lisee described the acts as “cowardly and ridiculous” in a blog post. LIsee remains one of the most visible ministers in the PQ caucus on the heated files of education and language.
