MONTREAL-- A memorial will be held Monday morning in honour of Mathilde Blais, one week after the 33-year-old cyclist was hit and killed by a truck while commuting to work.
Hundreds of people are expected to gather at the site of the accident at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow morning.
Blais was struck by a truck while biking through an underpass on St. Denis St, near Rosemont metro station. She was riding a Bixi and wearing a helmet.
A white “ghost” bicycle will be installed to mark the spot where the tragedy occurred.
