MONTREAL--Police say a man was shot and killed in Saint-Laurent overnight.
Police said calls were made to 911 at around 11:45 p.m. on Sunday night after gunshots were heard at Decarie and Cote-Vertu Boulevards.
Police arrived on the scene to discover a 23-year-old man laying injured on the west side of Decarie. He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police constable Danny Richer said the major crimes unit was on the scene Monday to investigate with no arrest, no suspect, and no description of the suspect(s) available yet.
Police said the 11th homicide of 2013 matches the same total at this time last year.
