Trying to catch a flight this week continues to be a gamble as airports struggle to deal with winter weather.
More than 600 flights in and out of Pearson airport in Toronto were cancelled Tuesday, and that's having a cascading effect across the country.
Air Canada has warned passengers not to show up at airports in Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and the eastern U.S. without checking their flight status first: there is a very good chance their plane simply will not be there.
Passengers who have had flights cancelled this week should not go to the airport in hopes of rescheduling. Instead airlines say people should call or go online, and be prepared to wait along with the thousands of other customers trying to do the same thing.
On Wednesday multiple flights from Toronto to Montreal were cancelled, as were several flight to NYC and Toronto from Montreal.
Just under 90 flights to and from Montreal were cancelled.
