Fire broke out at sushi restaurant in the Plateau overnight.
The fire started around 1 a.m. at Sushi 111, on Mont Royal Ave. near St. Urbain St.
Firefighters evacuated the apartments above the restaurant, and were quickly able to put out the flames.
The extent of the damage is not known, but crews had to smash a window in order to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters believe the fire started because of an electrical fault in the kitchen.
