One person has died in a single vehicle crash in Laval.
Police said the driver lost control of her car on the ramp leading to the Highway 15 South service road near Highway 440 and swerved into a pole.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene, pulled the driver from the wreckage and brought her to hospital where she died of her injuries.
The deceased is a woman in her fifties.
Police said it was raining at the time, and they spent several hours reconstructing the crash to determine exactly what happened.
