Wilde Horses
- Pacioretty seven games without a goal. Quick release on a soft pass from Desharnais is a sentence I have definitely written before. Pacioretty trying to pass a career best 33.
- Bourque firmly settled with a nice pillow, blanket and a little bowl of water in the dog house for 5 games then he actually gets a goal. The moment when he finally turned two months worth of "almost" doing something to actually doing something.
- The penalty kill made it 25 straight when they had to kill that retribution goon David Desharnais took when protecting Pacioretty on the Phaneuf hit.
- From the point of view of how I feel about the youth on the Habs not being given a chance to improve their situational play, I enjoy when Galchenyuk gets on the ice for a power play goal, especially when Galchenyuk gets to operate with the top defence on the power play Subban and Markov. It makes such a difference. When only Desharnais' line gets the top D and the second wave of forwards gets Bouillon and Emelin, well it affects the numbers drastically.

- Bouillon on 2nd Leafs goal was horrendous. A blind and soft pass to who he thinks is Subban. A minus for the Desharnais line on the goal but that's unjust. When Vanek gave the puck cleanly to Bouillon there was no sign of any danger.
- No clue what the head coach is thinking about with the Plekanec line. Your best defensive forward with two kids not known for defence. What is the line match up the coach is looking for there. Does he really want Plekanec and the kids to face Bozak's line? So what is the role of that line? Accepting replies if you have it figured out better than I at @BWildeCTV on Twitter.
- The Habs penalty kill streak was broken at 26 straight and it shouldn't be a surprise that Plekanec was in the box and not on that kill. It should be a surprise the Habs 5th and 6th D were on that kill. The coach was furious with the ref on that goal as he thought the penalty was a cheap call. He should be furious with himself too for his deployment. 5th and 6th D up one killing a penalty in the 3rd? Do you want to win?

- An entire night of listening to the Hockey Night in Canada crew saying just about everything from a Leafs perspective is disappointing. What any point in the game meant to only the Leafs is frustrating as a Habs reporter who looks forward to what someone else's perspective is on Montreal. What HNIC thinks of players or circumstances on how the Habs are doing is very interesting to me but all I get is to hear Toronto perspective consistently. I get they live there and they breathe there but fake it a couple times a game please.
