The city of Longueuil has issued a boil water advisory for St. Hubert, Vieux-Longueuil. Boucherville, and St. Bruno.
City officials say work carried out at a water treatment plant resulted in a loss of pressure in the system.
Water should be boiled for at least one minute before consumption. The water is safe for use in dishwashers, washing machines, in baths and showers.
The advisory will be in effect for at least 48 hours.
