Four men are under arrest after a dramatic bank robbery and police chase that ended on Highway 40 Tuesday afternoon.
Three men in their 20s robbed a bank in Saint-Michel around 3:30 p.m. They then hopped into a car driven by another man in his 20s.
Montreal police were near the scene and quickly chased after the car. The thieves hit a tree, but continued with police in pursuit, driving on to Highway 40, said police.
Police stopped the car on Highway 40 westbound near the Christophe-Colomb Ave. exit.
Traffic was redirected in the area.
The three suspects and their driver were questioned by police Tuesday evening.
