Protesters at McGill University blocked doors to an administration building in a campaign against weapons research and fiscal restraint.
Holding signs reading "Demilitarize McGill" and "Anti-Capitalist, Anti-Imperialist, Revolutionary Student Movement," they stood outside the doors of the James building on Tuesday morning.
The protesters said they are opposed to the zero deficit goal of the provincial government, and opposed to any research which can be used for military purposes.
After about three hours the protesters left, allowing administrators to enter the building.
