The Montreal Alouettes have dropped three players from their roster, including veteran kicker Sean Whyte.

Linebacker Bryn Roy and wide receiver Dobson Collins were also released from the team.

Whyte joined the Als in 2011 after being traded from the B.C. Lions. He played 72 games in a Montreal uniform, scoring 698 points and completing 160 field goals.

Roy joined Montreal in 2012 and played 14 games.

Collins was only signed this past winter and played one game with the Alouettes.
