Quebec's permanent anti-corruption squad carried out at least three raids in Montreal on Wednesday.

UPAC would not confirm the locations, but officers were spotted at the offices of the Cote des Neiges-Notre Dame de Grace borough.

CTV Montreal reporters noticed that well into the evening lights on the 6th floor of the Decarie Blvd. building were on, with police officers entering and exiting the building.

UPAC said these raids are part of an ongoing investigation that has yet to lead to any arrests.

On Thursday a borough official confirmed the UPAC search but would not offer any comment on the nature of the investigation.

This is not the first time UPAC has raided the borough's offices. Police did the same in February, when they also looked at several other locations including Montreal city hall.
