Woman in critical condition after car crash in St. Leonard
A 19-year-old man has been arrested following a single-car accident in St. Leonard. One of the car's passengers is in critical condition in hospital.
A woman in her twenties suffered serious head injuries and is in critical condition in hospital following a single-car accident in St. Leonard.
The driver, a 19-year-old man, lost control of the car while driving northbound on Langelier Blvd. and hit a lamppost near Jarry St. E. around 2:45 a.m.
There were four people in the car at the time. All were between the ages of 19 and 23.
The driver was arrested at the scene for impaired driving causing bodily harm and driving with a blood alcohol level over 0.08.
Police are looking into what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
