A 50-year-old woman is dead after a fire this afternoon in St. Hubert on the South Shore.
The woman was in the basement of the home at 3591 Ovila-Hamel.
Police say the fire blew out the windows in the basement.
There's no word on the cause of the fire.
The victim's husband called 911.
