Man dead after vehicle and semi-truck collide on Perimeter

A man has died after a vehicle and a semi-truck collided on McGillivray Boulevard and the Perimeter Highway.

Police say they were called to the crash Thursday night at 7:15 p.m.

Emergency crews found a 42-year-old man, who was the only person in the vehicle, with serious injuries.

He was pronounced dead on scene.

The 27-year-old man who drove the semi-truck remained on scene to speak to officers.

The traffic division is investigating, and no charges have been laid, police said.
