Here are the restaurants in the Burger Battle in Windsor-Essex

The 3rd Annual Burger Battle has begun with 11 restaurants participating in Windsor-Essex.

Burger Battle passports are $20.00 and are valid Jan. 6 to March 27, Monday through Thursday at all restaurants (except Wolfhead Distillery which accepts the passport from Wednesday to Friday).

Organizers say to check restaurant hours of operation before going. Every person who purchases a passport is entered into a draw for one of 11 - $25 gift certificates to our participating restaurants.

Each book contains a coupon to all 11 participating restaurants and entitles you to a Buy One Get One (BOGO) free burger and fries meal.

Once you visit a restaurant, participants are encouraged to vote for their favorite restaurant. Results will be announced in mid-April.

Organizers say passports make it a great reason for date night, or getting together with a friend. The Burger Battle is a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland and the funds raised are used locally and internationally.
