The Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir is about to celebrate 30 years of music. Thursday night they performed with students from Lakeside Academy in Lachine.
"The event was a fundraiser for the school band to update some of their 40-year old instruments, and to invigorate new musicians by letting them share the stage with more accomplished artists," said Christine Long.
The next big show for the Gospel Choir is on December 2 at Theatre Maisonneuve with Kat Dyson.
Christine also looks at two big movies playing this weekend: the sprawling Cloud Atlas, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Imperial Theatre.
