MONTREAL - Sugar Sammy's bilingual comedy show has been a hit with Montrealers, extended and now extended again until at least May 31.

"You need to know all these cultures pretty intimately to point them out and make fun of them," said Sammy. "People appreciate that."

Sammy, whose real name is Samir Khullar, has been hosting his unique show since February. Cutting through the two solitudes, the Montreal-born comedian pokes fun at the divide between English, French and everyone else.

"If politicians said a quarter of the things I say on stage I think they would get in a lot of hot water," said Sammy.
