Regina police asking for public's help in assault investigation

The Regina Police Service (RPS) is asking the public for help finding a suspect connected to an assault with a weapon over the weekend.

On Dec. 22 around 2 a.m., police were dispatched to a home on the 900 block of Pasqua Street for a report of an injured person.

When they arrived, officers found an injured adult who told police they were assaulted by an unknown person with a firearm, according to an RPS news release.

Paramedics transported the victim to hospital with what were described as minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing, according to RPS. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
